Do you really know how to have fun?
Today is Friday. That universal day which everyone agrees that is the most fun (i’ll post something on that later) Too bad that the following is true:
Most people don’t know how to have fun.
I mean truly have fun. Merry go round, playground, so fun that the only thing left to say is “weeeeeeeeee” type fun. And even when they do go out, it’s most likely trying to look good/hard for other people.
If you talk to most people on what they do to have fun, they what
1. wait till friday
2. go to the club
3. get drunk.
If you notice, these are largely passive processes. Based on how “poppin” the club is, how not-watered down the drinks are, and how scantily clad the women came. Leaving it to someone else’s hands.
My idea of fun is a more active, more in my control. I have much more fun in the line of the club, cracking jokes with my peoples, and getting my James Bond on with the female bartenders. Shaken not stirred.
Or finding fun in otherwise mundane tasks. For example, taking a stack of random, unmarked CD’s and playing DJ in my car. Waiting in line? Strike up a conversation with a random person about a random event. Fun is fount everywhere. It’s simply up to the person.

Well, well…I think you are right.
Life is what you make it. It’s about not following rules and definitely doing you.

I’ve also learned that going to a club because you feel like you’re supposed to is one of the main ingredients for a horrible night. Do what you think would be fun for you.
Whether it be taking a walk around the neighborhood with a hockey mask and machete, watching a romantic movie with your cat and explaining the confusing parts to make sure she’s following along, or shooting squirrels with a paintball gun!
